Captives can play key role in managing climate risks

Peter Carter, the head of climate practice and head of captive and insurance management solutions at Willis Towers Watson PLC, said that captive insurance firms can play an important role in managing climate risk, Captive International reported. He noted that captive insurance firms are sometimes better placed to insure climate risks for their parent firms than commercial carriers.
