UK P&I club sees earned premiums rise over 5%

U.K.-based smaller vessel protection and indemnity provider The Shipowners’ Club reported a 5.3% year-on-year growth in earned premiums, net of reinsurance, to $249 million in 2023, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported. The P&I club reported a combined ratio of 98.4% compared to 97.4% posted in 2022.
