MNK Group buys Costa Rican insurer

Specialty Lloyd's of London reinsurance broker MNK Re Ltd. has acquired Costa Rica-based insurer Oceanica de Seguros S.A., expanding its presence in Central America and the Latin America region, Reinsurance News reported. Oceanica will retain its current management team and will be led by Daniel Hernandez, as the general manager.
