Heavy rains kill over 80 in Pakistan

Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority said on April 19 that heavy rains and flash floods have claimed the lives of at least 87 people and injured 82 others in the country over the past week, Xinhua reported. The rainfall has caused major property damage in the region. The disaster agency said that the rains are likely to continue until April 22 and may trigger flash floods in many areas of the nation.
