Elevance Health partners with private equity firm to enhance primary care

Elevance Health, parent company of Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance plans, has entered a strategic partnership with private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice to enhance primary care delivery, Forbes reports. The collaboration will combine care delivery assets from Elevance Health's Carelon Health and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice's portfolio companies, apree health and Millennium Physician Group.
