Chipmaker giant suffers major cyber attack

Netherlands-based chipmaker giant Nexperia B.V. said on April 12 that an unauthorized third party accessed some IT servers in March 2024, amid reports that ransomware hackers stole sensitive data as well as intellectual property from the firm, Infosecurity Magazine reported. The leaked documents include trade secrets, such as chip designs, customers information from well-known brands like Apple, and personal data of employees.
