Reinsurance renewals see resurgence in property cat capacity

A new report from insurance and reinsurance broker Aon plc said that the recent April 1 reinsurance renewals in India saw a resurgence in property catastrophe capacity, Reinsurance News reported. The broker noted that reinsurers in the country showed an increased appetite to grow their books. It also said that reinsurers remained disciplined, despite this excess capacity in the property cat market.
