Brit’s insurance premiums fall 6%

U.K.-based insurer and reinsurer Brit Ltd.’s insurance premiums fell nearly 6% year-on-year to $3.8 billion in 2023, Reinsurance News reported. The insurer’s profit grew threefold year-on-year to over $895 million, while its combined ratio for continuing business stood at 76.2%.
