UnitedHealth to resume processing medical claims after cyberattack

UnitedHealth Group Inc. expected that its largest clearinghouse, Relay Exchange, would be back online by March 25 following a cyberattack on Change Healthcare in February, Fierce Healthcare reports. The company would then begin processing $14 billion in medical claims, following widespread disruptions to reimbursements and pharmacy services. UnitedHealth has already advanced $2.5 billion to affected providers and restored 99% of Change Healthcare's pharmacy network services.
