D&O liability insurance rates stabilize

Insurance broker Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd. said that the directors and officers liability insurance rates in New Zealand have stabilized for most corporate clients as the hard market continues to ease, Asia Insurance review reported. The insurance broker said that recent legislative changes in Australia as well as an influx of capacity into the London D&O insurance market have contributed to the softer market, putting pressure on local insurers to decrease pricing.
