Construction and engineering insurance premium to rise by up to 50%

Murat Ciftci, chief executive of Turkey-based IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc., said that premium income to be generated from construction and engineering insurance business in Turkey is likely to grow by 45% to 50% this year, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Sigorta Medya. The construction and engineering insurance premium volume stood at 2.6 billion Turkish lira ($96.9 million) in 2022, while it already reached over TRY1.9 billion in the first half of the year.
