PMA adds former Chubb exec as chief underwriting officer

PMA Cos. Inc. said Tuesday that former Chubb Ltd. executive Sashi Aiyathurai has been named executive vice president and chief underwriting officer.
PMA, a provider of workers compensation insurance and services, is part of the Old Republic General Insurance Group.
Ms. Aiyathurai, previously senior vice president and segment leader at Chubb, will oversee all aspects of insurance underwriting and corporate distribution functions, PMA said.
She joins PMA with over 25 years of industry experience, including executive leadership, corporate strategy, and oversight of production underwriting and regional underwriting activities.
