Everest to begin rebrand in July

Everest Re Group Ltd. on Thursday said it will rebrand as Everest Group Ltd., effective July 10, 2023.
The move was approved at the company’s annual general meeting Wednesday. Everest Group Ltd. will trade under the new ticker symbol “NYSE: EG.”
The company has also launched a new corporate website at www.everestglobal.com. In conjunction with the rebranding, an Everest statement said.
Juan C. Andrade, Everest president and CEO, said in a statement the move reflects the group’s expanding presence in the global primary insurance market.
