Alliant names VP for new reinsurance division

Thomas C. Uzzo has been named vice president, reinsurance, at Alliant Re, a unit of Alliant Insurance Services Inc.

Mr. Uzzo was most recently a managing director at Aon PLC.

Alliant said in April it was planning to launch Alliant Re, a reinsurance brokerage division.

In a separate statement issued in April, the broker said that Nicholas Ambriano had joined Alliant Insurance Services as executive vice president, managing director, Alliant Re, in New York and would build out the new division’s staffing.
