Humana’s profits rose 33% to $1.24 billion from $930 million in the first quarter from a year earlier, on the back of increasing Medicare Advantage business, Forbes reports. Humana’s individual Medicare Advantage enrollment was 5.15 million at the end of the first quarter, was up 13% from 4.5 million in the year-ago period. Total revenues increased more than 11% to $26.7 billion.
