Sompo to integrate domestic and overseas operations

Mikio Okumura, chief operating officer at Japan-based Sompo Holdings, Inc., said that the insurer will now focus more on integrating its domestic and international operations after an acquisition spree helped it to enhance its presence worldwide, U.S. News reported citing Reuters. In order to deepen integration, Sompo will globalize capital allocations and product launches, alongside conducting analyses of risks such as cyber attacks on a global basis.
