Damages and economic losses from devastating floods top $30 billion

The Asian Development Bank said that the devastating floods that devastated  Pakistan from June to October 2022 have caused more than $30 billion worth of damage and economic losses in the country, Business Recorder reported. The floods damaged over one-third of summer crop agricultural areas. The floods affected 33 million people and resulted in recovery and reconstruction needs estimated at $16.3 billion.
