Spain’s Coordinator of Farmers' and Ranchers' Organizations has warned that severe droughts in the country have damaged more than 3.5 million hectares of crops, China Daily reported citing Euronews. A report from the association said that drought now affects 60% of the nation's countryside and is causing irreversible losses, with ecologist warning that farmers may soon not be able to maintain production of wheat and barley.
