P&I club NorthStandard opens new Asia headquarters

U.K.-based marine insurer NorthStandard Ltd., which was formed recently by merging The Standard Club Ltd. and The North of England Protecting and Indemnity Association Ltd., has now opened its new headquarters for the Asian market in Singapore, Bunkerspot reported. NorthStandard’s regional offerings include management of the Singapore War Risks Mutual, and coverage of freight, demurrage and defence and strikes and delays.
