Clover Health cuts staff, moves to new plan administration platform

Startup insurer Clover Health has cut 10% of its workforce as part of a restructuring aimed at helping the company on its path to profitability, reports Fierce Healthcare. The company announced April 17 that it conducted an independent reduction-in-force that was designed to better align its selling, general and administrative expenses with revenue. Clover said it will continue to "deliver additional efficiencies" as it streamlines operations.
