Exxon Mobil invokes force majeure on oil liftings in Nigeria

Exxon Mobil Corp. said on April 17 that it has invoked force majeure on crude oil liftings from different terminals in Nigeria amid industrial actions by its in-house workers union, Global Financial Digest reported citing Reuters. The company is trying to sell $1.2 billion in shallow-water assets in the country, where it finds operations challenging.
