Government asks insurers to tighten supervision of insurance agencies

The Insurance Supervisory Authority in Vietnam said that insurers must tighten their supervision of insurance agencies and sales, after receiving negative feedback over poor transparency of insurance products, Asia Insurance Review reported citing Vietnam News. The authority has ordered insurance agencies to act immediately and provide clients with accurate and complete information as well as review the quality of the consultation and sales techniques used by their agents.
