Global Risk Partners buys UK commercial insurance broker

Insurance broker Global Risk Partners Ltd., a part of Brown & Brown, Inc., has acquired U.K.-based commercial insurance broker Thompson and Co. (Risk Solutions) Holdings Ltd. for an undisclosed sum, Verdict reported. The acquisition, which has received required regulatory approvals, will see Thompson and Co becoming a part of Global Risk Partners’ Retail North division. The deal will help Thompson and Co. expand its footprint in the West Midlands.
