Poll finds North Carolinians critical of health insurers

According to a recent poll, many North Carolinians don’t believe their health insurance provider has their best interest in mind, reports WRAL News. Over 30% of respondents either strongly disagreed or disagreed with the statement, “Health insurance companies have my best interest in mind,” according to the poll conducted by Raleigh-based Meredith College. Nearly 24% of participants responded that  they believe health insurance companies are more responsible for the rising costs of health care than any other part of the health care network.
