Rising costs put health care providers under scrutiny

According to data collected and analyzed by Connecticut Office of Health Strategy, health care costs rose by nearly two times the governor’s 3.4% benchmark goal from 2020 to 2021, reports CT Mirror. Armed with that new OHS data, the governor and members of the General Assembly are now bracing for a legislative confrontation over efforts to rein in health care costs.
