Fidelis reports nearly 8% growth in premiums

Bermuda-based specialty insurer and reinsurer Fidelis Insurance Holdings Ltd.’s gross written premiums grew 8% year-on-year to $3 billion in 2022, Reinsurance News reported. The insurer’s combined ratio improved to 92.1% from 92.9% in 2021, while its overall underwriting income grew by 46% year-on-year to $120 million.
