HR and payroll management company falls victim to cyber attack

Belgium-based human resources and payroll management firm SD Worx said April 10 that its U.K. and Ireland division had suffered a cyber attack, which forced it to shut down the IT systems that support its HR and payroll services, Computing reported citing BleepingComputer. However, the company confirmed that the attack did not involve ransomware, and there is presently no indication to suggest that any data has been leaked.
