Airlines asked to evaluate flight paths after volcanic eruption

Russia’s Federal Agency for Air Transport, Rosaviatsiya, has warned airlines of danger from the Bezymianny volcano, which erupted on April 7 in Kamchatka with a 12,000-meter column of ash, and also asked them to reevaluate their flight paths, Firstpost reported. The activity poses a danger to both domestic and international flights.
