Telehealth visits rose in January to 5.9% of all medical claims: Report

Telehealth visits rose in popularity for the third straight month in January, accounting for 5.9% of all medical claims, an increase from 5.5% in December, according to Fair Health’s monthly telehealth tracker, Healthcare Dive reports. Utilization of virtual visits rose in all regions, and was up the most, at 9.5%, in the Midwest and West, rising 6.7% in the South and 3.2% in the Northeast.
