Turk Re’s net profit jumps 219% in 2022

Selva Eren, general manager of state-owned Turk Reasurans AS, said that the Turkish reinsurer’s net profit increased by 219% year-on-year to 695 million Turkish lira ($36 million) in 2022, Middle East Insurance Review reported. The reinsurer more than doubled its consolidated gross written premiums to approximately TRY4.3 billion, up from TRY1.82 billion reported in 2021.
