April reinsurance renewals were challenging: Gallagher Re

According to a report from Gallagher Re, the reinsurance brokerage business of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., April reinsurance renewals were challenging, with buyers facing similar price hikes from reinsurers to that seen at the Jan. 1 renewals, Asia Insurance Review reported. However, April renewals also saw a more intense focus on pricing and contract improvements across all territories as well as all business lines.
