Bulgarian nonlife insurers’ net profit down nearly 22%

Data from Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission showed that nonlife insurers’ combined net profit fell by 21.6% year-on-year to 178.1 million Bulgarian levs ($99 million) in 2022, SeeNews reported. Meanwhile, gross written premiums increased by 13.3% year-on-year to BGN2.99 billion.
