Political violence insurance moving into hard market: Allianz

Srdjan Todorovic, head of political violence and hostile environment solutions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE, said that insurance against political violence is moving into a hard market, as rates are rising while appetite and capacity have ebbed since the Ukraine war started, UK Daily News reported. Mr. Todorovic added that it was a soft market for about 15 years, but it levelled off in terms of rate and capacity after losses in South Africa in 2021.
