Peak Re posts net loss of nearly $80 million

Hong Kong-based Peak Reinsurance Co. Ltd. posted a net loss of $79.8 million for 2022, as increasing catastrophe losses affected its performance during the period, Reinsurance News reported. Meanwhile, the reinsurer’s gross written premiums increased to $2.29 billion from $2.14 billion.
