Utilities fined $755 million for anti-competitive behaviour

Japan's antitrust watchdog has fined utility firms Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc., Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc and Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. more than 100 billion Japanese yen ($754.6 million) for their anti-competitive behavior and forming a cartel, Reuters reported. The regulator hit Chugoku Electric Power with the biggest fine of JPY70.7 billion amongst the three firms.
