Elevance selling its life and disability business to The Standard

The Standard Insurance Company will acquire Elevance Health Inc.'s disability, accidental death and dismemberment, absence management and paid family leave businesses, Becker’s Payer Issues reports. According to a March 29 news release, The Standard, a Portland, Oregon-based disability and life insurance and employee benefits provider, will also enter a product distribution partnership with Elevance.
