Kuwaiti insurers’ premiums up nearly 15%

Data from the Kuwait Insurance Federation showed that local insurers’ total premiums increased 14.6% year-on-year to 629.9 million Kuwaiti dinars ($2.96 billion) in 2022, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Al Anba. Kuwait-incorporated insurers saw KWD566.6 million of the total premiums reported for 2022, while foreign insurers operating in the country posted the remaining KWD63.3 million in premiums.
