French strikes disrupt fuel deliveries

Massive strikes in France over the past three weeks have forced three of the biggest refineries in the country to halt production and caused two others to operate at reduced capacity, hindering fuel supply and weakening crude oil market across Europe, Reuters reported. The country’s civil aviation authority has also asked carriers to reduce flights from Paris-Orly Airport by a fifth on March 30 and by a quarter on March 31.
