Heather McClure, a former health care leader at Aon PLC, has co-founded Helio Risk, a risk financing, captive management and consulting company based in Oklahoma City.
Helio will help businesses form and manage captive insurers in Oklahoma and other domiciles, the company said in a statement Wednesday announcing its launch.
Ms. McClure was named general counsel and chief risk officer, Helio said in the statement. She joins Blake Kerr, CEO, Kyle Sweet, chief strategy officer, and Ashley Napier, chief operating officer.
Ms. McClure was previously chief risk advisor for Aon’s U.S. health care practice and prior to that chief risk officer of OU Health at the University of Oklahoma.
