Sen. Warren urges FTC to scrutinize CVS Health, Oak Street deal

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, sent a letter to the Federal Trade Commission calling on the agency to "carefully scrutinize" CVS Health Corp.’s planned $10.6 billion acquisition of Oak Street Health, Fierce Healthcare reports. Sen. Warren also called on FTC to challenge any M&A activity in health care that could lead to higher prices, less competition and lower care quality.
