Dutch maritime logistics firm suffers ransomware attack

A ransomware attack hit Netherlands-based maritime logistics company Royal Dirkzwager BV on March 6, taking down four of its services and stealing crucial sensitive data including employee passports and contracts, The Maritime Executive reported citing SecurityWeek and The Record. The Play ransomware group, which is the main culprit behind the attack, has published some data and claims to have more data that is yet to be released.
