Marsh names US central zone leader

Marsh LLC on Thursday said Sarah Stephens, current head of cyber for the U.K. and International, Marsh Specialty, will take up the role of U.S. central zone leader, effective May 1.
She succeeds John Newell, who left the company to join San Francisco-based brokerage Newfront Insurance Inc. in December.
Ms. Stephens will relocate from London to Chicago and drive new business growth as leader of Marsh’s 18 offices across the central region. She reports to Pat Donnelly, president, U.S. and Canada.
Brian Warszona, deputy leader of the cyber practice in the U.K., will assume interim leadership of the practice.
Ms. Stephens was named head of cyber, U.K. and International in 2020. She joined Marsh when it acquired Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC in 2019 as cyber, media and technology leader within the U.K financial and professional services practice and prior to that spent 12 years at Aon PLC in a variety of roles.
