Premiums up over 14% in Kosovo

Data from Kosovo’s central bank showed that local insurers’ aggregate gross written premium increased 14% year-on-year to €134 million ($142.6 million) in 2022, Xprimm reported. Non-life insurance premiums grew 11.7% year-on-year to €127.7 million. However, the local insurers’ aggregate net profit fell 60% year-on-year to €3.5 million.
