Tennessee city approves mental health benefit to combat first-responder suicides

Manchester, Tennessee, officials approved a first responder mental health plan that aims to combat suicide and post-traumatic stress, reports the Manchester Times. The program is offered through the faith-based Family Counseling Center for $20,450 annually. The city’s insurance plan already includes a One America ComPsych program that offers six counseling sessions per issue per year.
