Insurers looking to make their mark on ESG adoption: PwC

According to Marisa Savage, the environmental, social and governance leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers Bermuda, there is an urgent need to transition to a low carbon economy and insurers and reinsurers are readily taking steps to move the ESG needle, Reinsurance News reported. Many big players in the Bermuda market are making ESG commitments, with some aiming to stop underwriting coal fire projects or other carbon intensive exposures by 2030.
