Storm Freddy wreaks havoc in Mozambique and Malawi

Tropical Storm Freddy, which pummelled central Mozambique on March 11 before moving inland towards Malawi, caused torrential rains, widespread flooding, and landslides, while also claiming the lives of more than 100 people, Reuters reported. The storm also disrupted power supply and phone signals in certain areas.
