Aon updates Europe cat models to incorporate emissions scenarios

U.K.-based Aon PLC’s updated Impact Forecasting Europe Windstorm and Severe Convective Storm catastrophe models now incorporate emissions scenarios that affect current and future projections of storm and climate activity across the region, Reinsurance News reported. With the help of the updated models, clients can better predict their exposures to help with portfolio management and capital allocation.
