Fire engulfs tire factory in South Korea

A major fire engulfed one of the two tire factories owned by South Korean tire company Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd.’s in Daejeon on March 12, burning about 87,000 square meters inside and all the approximately 400,000 tire products in the logistics building, Xinhua reported citing Yonhap. About 10 plant workers and one firefighter were rushed to the hospital after they inhaled smoke at the factory.
