Lloyd's of London's premiums up over 19%

Lloyd's of London's gross written premium increased by over 19% to more than £46 billion ($54.67 billion) in 2022, driven by a combination of organic growth, direct price increases and the strong U.S. dollar, Asia Insurance Review reported. The marketplace’s underwriting performance increased by 1.6 percentage points to deliver a combined ratio of 91.9%.
