Bermuda insurance market sees steady growth in specialty lines

Christian Dunleavy, group underwriting officer at Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., said that both the specialty and casualty lines of the insurance industry in Bermuda have seen steady growth as the market matures out of its traditional catastrophe reinsurance focus, The Royal Gazette reported. Mr. Dunleavy noted that specialty lines are broader now than earlier and many insurers are entering into this market as they anticipate better returns.
